Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro-athlete. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she trains athletes. Annie became the very first female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she finished 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter as well as a media star. The first female to be awarded at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. She is also known for being the winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie and her parents and siblings were all born and grew up in Reykjavik Iceland. As a exercising enthusiast since a young age she participated in numerous school competitions and won several medals. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit competitions held in California. She was the first woman to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won in the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and was the first female athlete who has won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she took home a gold. Then in 2021 she won with a bronze. Presently, Annie works as a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. With rising fame as an athlete Annie has appeared as a spokesperson of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae among many other. Her self-titled Youtube page is awash with over 1000 subscribers, where she posts her family and travel videos along with training and diet plans.
